WHAT WILL YOUR JOB ENTAIL?
The FSMA is looking for an IT developer specialized in the development of applications in the Azure cloud. These applications will serve to collect and manage data to be further analyzed by supervisory departments at the FSMA.
As an Azure Cloud Developer, you will come and strengthen our IT department, in particular the team in charge of developing several projects in the cloud (web scraping or others). You will use modern data engineering and artificial intelligence techniques to build data pipelines and Azure applications that will help the FSMA's supervisory departments make the best possible decisions in the interest of consumers.
WHAT KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DO YOU BRING?
- A Bachelor’s diploma in computer science or similar field.
- More than three years’ professional experience in software development.
- Solid competence in French or Dutch and at least a passive knowledge of the other official language and of English.
- Ability to understand the Azure architecture implemented in the cloud by the FSMA.
- Ability to design, develop and maintain applications in the cloud.
- Ability to ensure the security of these applications and of relevant data in the cloud.
- Good knowledge of the Azure cloud platform: Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps.
- Good knowledge of a least one programming language such as Python, in a framework such as Selenium.
- Familiarity with .NET and/or T-SQL is an asset.
- Knowledge of the DevOps environments (Jira, Confluence, GIT, Bitbucket, SonarQube) or of similar environments.
- Analytical skills, professional mindset, resistance to stress and good communication skills.
- Adaptability and organizational skills. You can set priorities. You are a team player but also work well independently.
- Interest in the financial world.
