The Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) warns the public against the activities of Mitsui Credit Global (or Mitsui Credits) and Resona Corporate Partners, companies that offer investment services.
Mitsui Credit Global (or Mitsui Credits) and Resona Corporate Partners are not authorized investment firms in Belgium. They are therefore not allowed to offer investment services in or from Belgium.
Moreover, according to the information available to the FSMA, the activities proposed could be of a fraudulent nature, i.e. boiler room fraud. More information on this form of fraud is available in the general warning published by the FSMA on 4 May 2016.
The FSMA thus strongly advises against responding to any offer of financial service made by Mitsui Credit Global (or Mitsui Credits) and Resona Corporate Partners and against transferring money to any account number they might mention.
Mitsui Credit Global (Mitsui Credits) uses the website www.mitsuicredit.com, the email address email@example.com and the phone number +81 645 604 429. It claims to have its registered office in Japan (16F Yodoyabashi Mitsui Building, 4-1-1 Imabashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka, 541-0042).
Mitsui Credit Global uses various bank accounts said to have been opened in the name of the following companies: Ming Fu (HK) Industrial Limited, EKL International CO., Limited and Hadid Ravan CO., Limited.
The company was, moreover, the subject of a recent warning issued by the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), dated 8 February 2016.
Resona Corporate Partners uses the website www.resonapartners.com, the phone number +81 645 604 426 and the email addresses firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. It claims to have its registered office in Japan (31F Breeze Tower, 4-9 Umada 2-chome, Kita-ku, Osaka).
The company also uses various bank accounts said to have been opened in the name of the following companies: Hadid Ravan Co. Limited and Bauway Technology Limited.
Resona Corporate Partners also works with the Franklin Transfer Services company, which claims to be a transfer agent. The latter company uses the website www.franklinfinancial.net and the email address firstname.lastname@example.org. It claims to have its registered office in South Africa (Musgrave Centre, 8th Floor, 115-125 Musgrave Road, Durban 4062, KwaZulu-Natal).
Mitsui Credit Global (Mitsui Credits), Resona Corporate Partners and Franklin Transfer Services are also suspected of having ties with Fuji Credit Asset Management and Nippon Holdings (Nippon Capital Asset Management), two companies about which the FSMA has also issued a warning.
