Today, Monday 15 January 2024, the Law amending the banker’s oath and disciplinary regime has been published in the Belgian Official Gazette. The new rules now fall within the mandate of the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA). Following upon the publication of the Law, the FSMA has published a set of frequently asked questions (FAQs) that provide a clearer understanding of the new regime.
