Where will you work?
You will be part of the “Communication and Financial Education” service of the FSMA. This service looks after all the internal and external communication for the FSMA as well as for Wikifin, the FSMA’s financial education programme. The service’s activities include handling questions from the press, drafting and publishing press releases, managing the various websites, social media and the intranet, translations, drawing up the annual report and other publications.
What will your job entail?
- Contributing to preparing the daily press reviews. The Communication team compiles a daily press review consisting of articles from the Belgian and international press and makes these available to all FSMA staff. The team also conducts occasional searches in specific publications, upon request from the various FSMA services.
- Posting publications on the FSMA’s websites and the intranet. Every day, publications and updates are posted to the websites www.fsma.be and www.wikifin.be and on the FSMA’s intranet. To this end, the Communication team receives the necessary information from the FSMA’s various services and ensures that all publications are correct, high-quality and timely.
- Providing administrative support to the handling of consumer questions. The FSMA regularly receives questions from consumers on a wide range of topics. The “Communication and Financial Education” service gathers these questions, distributes them to the relevant service, follows up on the handling of the questions, and verifies the quality of the answers that are provided.
