From 26-28 April 2023, the Chairman of IOSCO and of the FSMA, Jean-Paul Servais, participates in the half-yearly Eurofi conference. This three-day event takes place in Stockholm.
The Eurofi conference offers representatives of the public sector and stakeholders (financial institutions, investors representatives, ...) a platform for the exchange of views on financial regulation and trends in the financial sector.
Today Jean-Paul Servais held a keynote speech in his capacity as IOSCO chair. In this speech, he addressed key issues on IOSCO's agenda. In particular, he explained IOSCO's work on fostering resilience in Non Bank Financial Intermediation, delivering on the Sustainable Finance agenda, and achieving a first globally consistent set of standards on Crypto-Assets from a securities markets perspective.
In the margins of the conference, Jean-Paul Servais has multiple bilateral meetings with representatives of international organizations, supervisory authorities and other stakeholders.
