On 25 May 2018, new data protection legislation enters into force, intended to offer better protection of your personal data. The General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) lays down rules that companies and public authorities must comply with when they process your personal data; the GDPR offers you various rights that enable you to better protect your personal data.
