The FSMA Academy is the FSMA’s training programme for professionals in the financial sector.
Objective of the FSMA Academy
The FSMA Academy aims to raise awareness amongst stakeholders in the financial sector of the supervisory framework that the FSMA is responsible for implementing, by providing a better understanding of its rules and the FSMA’s expectations of regulated firms.
The FSMA Academy takes two forms: the FSMA Essentials, on the one hand, and conferences, on the other.
FSMA Essentials
FSMA Essentials are short, informative videos that explain technical topics relating to the FSMA’s competences.
The first FSMA Essential is now available: find out about the FSMA, our history, our mission, our competences and our commitment to serving financial consumers since 1935:
Conferences
The FSMA organises conferences on specific topics, relating, for example, to current financial developments in Belgium or internationally.
Check this website regularly to stay informed of our sessions and to register. You may also like to sign up for the FSMA newsletter and follow our other communication channels: the FSMA news and our LinkedIn account.
The FSMA Academy previously consisted of a series of 10 training courses, delivered to a select group of professionals from the financial sector. This format of the FSMA Academy is no longer in use. Read participants’ feedback (available in French and Dutch only).
