The FSMA has been awarded the 3-star “Ecodynamic Company” label.
The label is an official recognition bestowed by the Brussels Institute for the Environment (the Brussels Capital Region’s environmental and energy service) on Brussels-based companies that make major efforts to reduce the environmental impact of their business activities. There are three levels to the label, symbolized by one, two or three stars respectively. The label recognizes the environmental management practised by Brussels organizations and rewards their environmental performance, taking into account the organizations’ own context and that of the Brussels Region. It evaluates their environmental initiatives, chiefly in the areas of waste management and prevention, rational energy use, employment mobility, etc.
The ‘Ecodynamic Company’ label puts the FSMA on the map as one of players that help Brussels make a difference to the environment.
