The Chairman of the FSMA, Mr Jean-Paul Servais, gave a speech at the Investment Management Forum organized by EFAMA (European Fund and Asset Management Association). During his remarks, the Chairman stressed the importance of financial education. He also outlined the initiatives that the FSMA has already taken via its financial education programme, Wikifin, and in which the FSMA is a pioneer at European level. The Wikifin programme consists of three pillars: initiatives for the general public, collaboration with schools, and the new Wikifin Lab. The Chairman set out in greater detail the approach that will be used at the Wikifin Lab, which will be an interactive experience centre for financial education.
