The FSMA is launching a series of animated films (available in French and Dutch only) about the rules intended to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. The films are intended to help insurance intermediaries to apply the anti-money laundering rules correctly.
Via a new series of animated films, the FSMA seeks to raise the awareness of insurance intermediaries active in the field of life insurance of the risks they may encounter regarding money laundering and terrorist financing.
This film (available in French and Dutch only) goes into the concept of ‘politically exposed persons’ in greater detail and explains what additional measures of vigilance an intermediary must take in respect of such persons.
