Young people between the ages of 18 and 25 would like to learn more in school about money matters. The younger generation is particularly interested in cryptocurrencies, but taxes, budgeting and investment are also at the top of their wishlist. These are findings from a large-scale study[1] among 1,000 young people aged 18-25 that the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) conducted in the framework of the tenth anniversary of Money Week. In the coming years, the FSMA will continue, via Wikifin, its financial education programme, to launch specific initiatives for this age group.
