During the last four months of 2026, the FSMA will conduct an assessment of the level of AML/CFT expertise and knowledge of AMLCOs.
This newsletter sets out how the assessment will be carried out. The FSMA calls on intermediaries and their AMLCO to prepare accordingly by reviewing the AMLCO’s level of AML/CFT expertise and knowledge and taking appropriate remedial action where any deficiencies are identified.
