Jean-Paul Servais, Chairman of the FSMA and of the international organization IOSCO, participated in a virtual interview on the occasion of the meeting of the IFAC (International Federation of Accountants) Council, held in Mexico City this week.
In an interview with Lee White, the CEO of IFAC, he addressed the important role of IOSCO in building international standards and enhancing trust in financial markets through reliable, comparable, and credible disclosures.
He also emphasized the extent to which technology, and artificial intelligence (AI) in particular, transforms both markets and the audit and assurance profession.
