The FSMA has published the regulation of 31 October 2023 on the accreditation of training providers. This regulation lays down the conditions for obtaining and maintaining an accreditation as a training provider. It enters into force on 1 January 2024. The regulation provides for a transitional period of six months to allow training providers to adapt the courses they offer for continuing professional education (CPE) and the certificates of attendance to the new rules. In addition to the regulation, the FSMA published a completely new set of FAQs on continuing professional education, providing answers to questions on different topics, such as courses eligible for continuing professional education, double counting of hours, digital learning formats, transfer of CPE hours to the following CPE year, ...
