On 15 July 2026, the banker’s oath will apply to the following persons (known as banking service providers) who work at banking and investment services agents for a credit institution:
- Any members of senior management (category 1)
- The managers responsible, which are persons who assume de facto responsibility for or supervise the category 4 bank service providers referred to below (category 2)
- Banking and investment services agents registered with the FSMA as natural persons (category 3)
- All other persons who participate directly in the exercise of banking activities or services at the agent in question (category 4)
