As mentioned in its warning of 20 December 2017, the FSMA receives an ever increasing number of complaints/questions from consumers who have been approached by companies offering investments in diamonds. In this context and on the basis of its actual findings, the FSMA decided to publish a list of the websites reported by consumers.

Important notice: as outlined above, this list is based solely on the findings of the FSMA, in particular as a result of consumers’ reports. As such, it does not include all the companies which might be operating unlawfully in Belgium in the diamonds investment industry.
The FSMA also invites consumers to find additional information by consulting the blacklist ('liste noire'), published by the French supervisor (AMF), of websites which offer investments in various goods (diamonds, wine, etc.) and do not comply with current French legislation and regulations. Since many companies target both French and Belgian consumers, it may be useful for Belgian consumers to check the AMF list as well.
Please do not hesitate to contact the FSMA directly via the consumer contact form should you have any questions concerning the above-mentioned list.
