Combatting money laundering and the financing of terrorism

The AML/CFT Law (the Anti-money laundering Law of 18 September 2017) imposes various requirements on obliged entities aimed at  preventing, detecting and averting transactions that involve money laundering.

To do so requires constant vigilance concerning clients, transactions and business relationships, retaining data and documents and reporting to report the Belgian Financial Intelligence Processing Unit (CTIF-CFI).
